It has power locks and power windows if that helps. Also will i be able to use all of the features or just some since it’s an older car? Can you even install any type of alarm system on older cars? Thanks.

I’m looking into getting an aftermarket alarm system for my Accord sedan (possibly the Viper 5901 or 5902). My question is when I’ve started up the car using a remote starter and the engine is on, do I then insert the key and turn it to the ‘on’ position and it’s ready to go?
hey, for any one who knows anything abut bmws, the 2009 3 series models (later models) dont come with alarm systems, so i was wondering if i could install a viper 5902 on it and would it work..if so what all would i need besides the alarm (interface modules and ect..) it also has auto start on it so thats another big up for me lol..but anyways thnx alot to who ever answers….oh btw the car im speaking of is a 2009 328i **remote start** not auto start sry…

I brought a used car off craigslist. The keyless remote doesn’t work, so I was thinking if I had an alarm installed it would make better sense. To re-program the keyless remote will be 85 dollars……If I get an alarm placed on the car will I have the ability to unlock the car doors with the alarm remote?
I am planning to buy my husband a remote starter but we are planning to replace his car next year. do you think remote starter can be transferred to the new car that we are going to buy? Can we do the transferring ourselves?
