MORE GENEVA MOTOR SHOW @ INSIDELINE.COM: www.edmunds.com Smart said it is going for a “springlike” feeling with its Smart Fortwo Edition Limited Three, which is set for a world debut at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The special-edition vehicle boasts a melon green metallic paint job and will be built as a limited series, said the automaker. The Smart Fortwo Edition Limited Three will start at the US equivalent of 794 for the coupe model and 684 for the cabrio when it goes on sale in Europe. Standard features include micro hybrid drive and an automatic start-stop system. Control electronics shut down the 71-horsepower engine when the driver brakes and the vehicle’s speed falls below 5 miles per hour. The engine starts again when the driver releases the brake. The cabin gets fabric in melon green with brown accents. Power steering, heated seats, a lockable glove compartment and a sound system with five speakers and MP3 interface are optional.
