I just turned 15 and I am looking for a car. Safety is important (at least 4 stars for front and back) because once I turn 16 I will have to carry friends, my little brother, and possibly other children if I’m babysitting. I want something with good gas mileage and thats good for the environment too. Looking good is kind of important, but its not a necessity. Does anyone have any ideas of cars that fit this description?

We have been looking at cars and have finally decided on a particular model, but now we have to decide on options packages. One package is considered the "sport model" and has a spoiler on the end of it (the funny looking fin on the back), but it also has a car alarm system. The other package doesn’t have any of the above, but everything else on the car is standard. I have heard that having a car alarm can reduce your premiums, while a spoiler or sports model may increase them. Is this true? If it is would or could the car alarm cancel out the spoiler/sport model increase? I have already tried getting several free quotes and none have allowed me to specify my policy this specifically.

We have a 2009 Chevrolet Express, a rather large van. I was wondering what the best choice for alarm systems would be. Ive looked a few up, but am unsure how that would connect into the car’s existing electrical systems and how secure it would be for a vehicle that is larger than most cars that is is designed for.
