Here’s a short clip of the Lethal Performance 2011 5.0L on the dyno at UPR Products in Lake Worth, FL. For this run the car had the stock tune and a Lethal Performance 3″ Offroad X-pipe. Everything else on the car is completely stock. As far as dyno numbers go we’re unable to advertise them as that info will be released in an up and coming 5.0 Mustang Magazine article compliments of editor Steve Turner. We are however able to release information about the gains we got with the 3″ offroad pipe over the stock one. On a completely stock 5.0L we picked up 14rwp with the addition of the 3″ offroad pipe only. This is on the stock tune with the stock manifolds and stock catback. All we did was remove the stock catted H-pipe and put on the Lethal Performance 3″ mandrel bent x-pipe and a 14rwhp gain was achieved. The offroad x-pipes go for 9.00 and will be shipping the first week of July. Our 3″ offroad x-pipe is mandrel bent and is a simple bolt-on modification. No cutting or welding is required. Installation should take less than an hour. You can order them by either calling us over the phone or by placing the order online. Either way we’ll be glad to assist you.
Switzer Performance already has a new, pumped up version of the Porsche 911 GT2. The details are intriguing to say the least, it gets dialed up significantly to 911 hp (679 kW) – a full 291hp more than the recently revealed GT2 RS. That number is not a coincidence. After all, it is an iteration of the Porsche 911. The Switzer GT2 R911S starts with the Ohio-based tuner’s P800 GT2 package and then works onward from there. With the use of Switzer’s in-house massive intercoolers and a vague reference to racing fuel, Switzer says there are now 911 ponies on tap for their R911S. For the suspension the tuner adds “Switzer-specific titanium inverted-front-strut and a remote-reservoir suspension engineered by the track experts at JRZ.” The R911S will also feature “hand-selected spring and damping rates.” A R911S Carbon edition will also be available with a set of carbon fiber parts that lighten the car and drop its center of gravity. Switzer’s prices for the car are, in fact, lower than Porsche’s own MSRP for the 620hp 911 GT2 RS. The Switzer GT2 R911S can be had for 9900 (€158692), while the R911S Carbon comes in at 9900 (€190447). Porsche’s new GT2 RS will sell for 5000 (€193000) in the US market.

Here’s a short clip of the Lethal Performance 2010 GT500 getting fired up. The car has been under the knife for a few weeks and it’s almost ready to see the dyno. It’s powered by an all aluminum longblock built by Al Papitto of Boss330 Racing and powered by a massive 4.0L Whipple supercharger which is the same blower being used on the 2010 Super Cobra Jet. Big thanks to Jake@Power By the Hour in Boynton Beach, Dustin Whipple of Whipple Superchargers and Jon Lund of Lund Racing for getting our baby back up and running. We’ll be sure to post a few more clips of the car during idle as well as the entire dyno tune session.
