Will a remote start work on a manual shifted car?

I want to get a remote start for my car that has a standard transmission. I know it works for cars with automatic shift but do they make remote starts for standard transmission.

It has power locks and power windows if that helps. Also will i be able to use all of the features or just some since it’s an older car? Can you even install any type of alarm system on older cars? Thanks.

      Remote start for car question…?

When using the remote start for a car, when ready to get in the car and leave, can I drive with out the key in the ignition? Or do I have to put the key in the ignition? also, how do I turn the car off if using the automatic start? I know it sounds stupid, but I’ve never had an experience with one… Thank for the help…

Car Alarm (SPY 2 Two Way LCD Car Alarm)

“SPY 2 Two Way LCD Car Alarm” It arrived Wednesday morning, I installed it the same day, and filmed the alarm in action that night. This video is what it’s like to use. Overall, i’m happy with it. The remote is nice, has a well built feel about it, has a solid aerial which wont easily break off (unlike my previous alarm’s remote), is easily heard and felt (vibration), has a 3 colour backlight for the display representing different events (tho that is somewhat impossible to see in the day) and the LCD has a nice feel to it. The sirent beeps also sound normal, and for a sub 0 alarm system (inc postage to country victoria from interstate) i’m wrapped! :D The packaging for the product is excellent, came with a comprehensive instruction set in English (not engrish) and was relatively painless to install. I’ve got it interfacing with the existing central locking, and wanted to hook up the alarm’s remote output to open the rear hatch glass but couldnt find the wiring loom for that! The remote start is tied into the handbrake as well so it will not start unless that is on, also being an automatic vehicle, it will never start unless it’s in park or neutral. Being a two way remote, it receives feedback from the vehicle and alerts the remote via a quick tune, a vibration and the display on the remote. It’s got pretty good range despite me not installing the aerial in it’s recommended place. The remote also uses a standard AAA battery, not some obscure lithium nuclear powered

Although I know the basic functioning of this alarm, I don´t know how to do certain things like remote start for example. If there is way of downloading the manual for this alarm, I will appreciate the help. If you want to know exactly which is the alarm I’m talking about, you can see it at this site: http://www.todoautos.com.pe/f16/alarma-spy-arranque-remoto-33486.html

what does Remote start ready mean?

my van manual says its remote start ready but does not have remote start. i bought a remote start the other day and the guy i called to install it said newer vehicles need this security bypass and a power kit to connect to the battery. i can’t find any information online about what exactly remote start ready means…does that mean its already got all the wires and we just have to put the device in? anyone know?
