Here is what I was able to understand from reading the very poorly written instructions on how to set the time/date on the D001 spy cam. If I could I would delete that feature, but I can’t. So I wanted to pass along my information as I understand it to you. You have to put in the correct date and time in the TAG.TXT folder which is found on the CD that comes with the camera. It says to put that folder in thr “root” directory, I am not sure where the root directory is on this so I put it into both folders just to make sure. I am no computer nerd, I stumble my way through things. Hope this helps those of you who are having a bad time trying to set the time and date on this cam.

In the root directory make a text document called TAG In that document write this [date] 2010/09/04 23:14:00= Replace date and time with the real date and time. Turn camera on, turn camera off. Turn camera on an record. The next time you turn the camera off and on again it will return to default settings so you have to make another TAG folder again if you want the current date again.
